Located approximately 52km from Kai Iwi Lakes, beside a magnificent stretch of the Tasman coast, this traditional country campground is nestled into a plateau above the bay, where there is a cluster of mainly holiday homes. You will find 22 sites, eight are powered and 14 are non-powered, plus plenty of tent space.
An ablution block has hot water showers for $1 and flush toilets. In the gazebo outdoor kitchen there are three fridges, a microwave and two electric hobs. Dine at one of the three large picnic tables that are undercover and protected by clear roll down plastic windows. It is an open secret that this is a great place to fish.
